Guyana Ex-Soldiers Association of Canada hosts Dinner in honor of Colonel C.E.Martindale

On Friday 31 July 2009, the GDF veterans in Toronto,Canada hosted a dinner in honor of Colonel C.E. Martindale. The XGDF Association of New York sent an official delegation of six, in support of the function. The delegation was led by Association President and Ms. I.C. Fraser, and Members D.T Roberts (The Master of Ceremonies) , H.Liverpoole, J.Nicholls, and P.Fraser. The delegation managed to capture some of the action on camera.

Martindale Dinner in Canada

^{On Saturday December 6, 2008
the Guyana Ex-Soldiers Association (Canada) celebrated its 25^th
anniversary with an elegant Dinner and Dance held at the Elite Banquet Hall, in
Mississauga City, on the outskirts of Toronto.The association’s president for
twenty-three years, former Warrant Officer Class I, Gordon Winter, and his
efficient team of executives hosted special guests including Guyana’s Honorary
Consul-General Danny Doobay, Toronto residents Colonel and Ms. C.E. Martindale,
President of the XGDF Association New York I.C. Fraser, Secretary General of the
GDF Veterans Association of LA Perry Foo, President of the XGDF Association of
Georgia Gwen Fredericks and over three hundred other guests including a
delegation of fifteen from New York.The proceedings were chaired by former Cpl
Ingrid King, Secretary of the Association.It was a grand reunion of sorts.}
