VIDEO PRESENTATION OF THE HISTORY OF THE GUYANA DEFENCE FORCE. DVD AVAILABLE.
On 15th January 2011 at our regular monthly meeting, member Hartley Liverpool previewed a DVD/Video Eyewitness Presentation on the history of the armed forces in British Guiana covering the period 1939 to 1966. This production, along with others covering different periods prepared by other eyewitnesses, will form part of an oral first-person account of the complete history of the GDF up to the year 2000. This work was recently commissioned by the current Chief-of-Staff of the Guyana Defence Force.
