NOTICE OF ELECTION OF OFFICE-BEARERS 2012/2014 XGDF
ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK.
Dear Member,
In accordance with Article IV of the Constitution of the XGDF Assoc. of NY, I hereby serve notice of
our intention to conduct elections for office-holders of the association for the period March 2012 to
March 2014. The process for these elections will be as follows :-
1) APPOINTMENT OF AN ELECTION COMMITTEE.
At the monthly general membership meeting held on Sunday 15th January, those present nominated
the following to form the ELECTION COMMITTEE which will be responsible for conducting the entire
election process up to declaration of the elected officials.

Committee Member: E. Alleyne
2) NOMINATION OF CONTESTANTS.
At the monthly general membership meeting to be held on Sunday 19th February 2012 the
ELECTION COMMITTEE will invite nominations from the floor for the entire list of positions available
for election. Those members who cannot be present at this meeting and wishing to nominate
particular candidates should ask an attendee to do so on their behalf.
The Secretary of the XGDF will make available to the ELECTION COMMITTEE the attendance and
financial records of all members for the purpose of determining the qualification of the nominees to
hold office in accordance with the Constitution. The COMMITTEE will formally notify each nominee of
the results of this qualification exercise.
The ELECTION COMMITTEE may also, as need arises, correspond with the general membership on
matters such as voting eligibility, procedures etc. Members are urged to familiarize themselves with
current Constitution of the Association, which was presented to each member in early 2011.
3) ELECTIONS.
At the general membership meeting to be held on Sunday 18th March 2012 the ELECTION
COMMITTEE will conduct balloting, counting and declaration of winners for the various positions.
