On the evening of Saturday, February 20, 2010 the XGDF Association hosted a Joint Services ceremony where the sum of seventeen hundred ($1,700) was donated towards the recent earth quake disaster in Haiti, through the "Yele Haiti" Foundation. Special guests included District 31 Assemblywoman Ms. Michele Titus and two representatives from her office;  Vice-Chairman of the Westchester County Legislator, Mr. Lynden Williams and his wife Mrs June Williams; and Ms. Lexy Brooks of the "Yele Haiti" Foundation. The Joint Services were represented by Acting President Veronica Rollins and other members of the XGDF Association; Mr & Mrs Dave De Abreau and other members of the Guyana Coast Guards Association; and Vice-President Rocky Blair and other members of the Association of Presidential Guards and Immigration Services.
